up and went to schools in Berwyn (Tredyffrin Township), PA. Graduated
from Conestoga High School in June, 1967
Graduated
from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in landscape
Architecture degree in June, 1971
Married
in August, 1971 to Marni Schultz (nee Taylor), a Penn State graduate
in Art Education in 1971
Served
in the U.S. Army Security Agency from 1971 to 1974 – Stationed
in Vietnam and Okinawa (Japan)
Worked
as a landscape designer and licensed landscape architect (registered
in PA) from 1974 to present – worked for six different firms
Currently
a Senior Associate and Group Leader for Landscape Architecture
at the multi-disciplinary design firm of Wallace Roberts &
Todd, LLC in Philadelphia, PA – have been with the firm
for 20 years
First
experience with photography was an introductory course in black
and white photography at Penn State in 1971
Have
been a “serious amateur” photographer since 1971,
concentrating on landscape imagery and, more recently, abstract
environmental studies, primarily in color
Have
exhibited at the Photography Place in Berwyn (now defunct) in
the late 1970's and at various courtyard shows at the United Church
of Christ at Valley Forge. Displayed and sold color prints of
beach and ocean scenes at a wine shop in Corolla, North Carolina
(1992 – 1994)
